La Revolution (2024)
This was a site specific work that I did in the hospital. It was a breath of fresh air. It
had its own logic, I didn't follow any of my research topics. The piece was an
immersive experience where I will drive the audience one by one 1 through a
completely empty office/hospital architectural building wing with many rooms and
doors. I was also driving on rollers skates, which created the feelings of being flying
together through the space. Intimacy is implicit in this work, in the sense that it was a
solo experience. My role was both the driver and at each different stations I would
stage image using my body as a vessel to invoke different meanings and feelings. This
work was not only one of my favourite works, but released me from being the subject
and object of my work and place me in the position of facilitator.
